Every once in a while, when designing equipment you strike a chord of success and our designers have done just that with our Zulu Nine Rapitac Pouch™. Inspired by a pouch designed in the late ‘70’s for Swat team use, the Rapitac Pouch™ features a large main box pocket intended for rappelling gloves. Sewn to the outside of this main pocket are 3 envelope pockets. Each pocket is designated for a piece of rappelling hardware, such as a figure eight and two carabiners. The individual envelope pockets designated for the rappelling hardware are provided to prevent damage due to impacts, knocks and dings. Another advantage of the individual pocket concept is that the user can access his personal rappel hardware faster.

What we did not expect however, was that this multi pocket pouch would be pressed into duty by all sorts of people looking for a belt carry organizer! Within a few weeks of its introduction the Rapitac Pouch™ has found favor with EMT’s, tradesmen, soldiers, and security personnel.

All of the features you would expect on a Zulu Nine Pouch are included. Tough, durable 1000 d milspec, air bulked, urethane coated, nylon fabric, drain holes, and an adjustable milspec, bayonet buckle, insure the pouches contents are safe and secure.
